Classic Rock & Roll with Max Oates
Max Oates and "Classic Rock and Roll"
Sundays 7pm-12 midnight
Max Oates and "Classic Rock and Roll" is a weekly radio showcase for some of the greatest Motown, Rhythm and Blues and good time Rock and Roll ever recorded.
While living in Michigan Max was involved in the music industry and oldies radio for many years. He had the chance to meet and interact with many industry people. Among his experiences was managing Marv Johnson, Motown’s first headliner. Max also spent time reforming and managing the Velvelettes. Max has consulted and written notes on reissue projects with such companies as Mercury, Sony, MCA, EMI, Motown and Collectables. And Max served as executive producer on two albums by the Washingont D.C. vocal goup The Velons.
